Wait a minute, Mads! The Bond villain (51, “Casino Royale”) also looks so impertinently good in the Bavarian sweat-heat of Rosenheim (33 degrees in the shade) that I simply had to ask:
BILD am SUNDAY: How long do you need in the morning?
MADS MIKKELSEN: I’m a real guy. Brush your teeth and you’re done, a total of three minutes. When I go out, I might even smash a little gel into my hair. Only for events I wear chic clothes. Otherwise, I’m a normal guy.
B: What do you never go out of the house without?
Mads: I always wear my watch. Because if I do not know what time it is, I feel uncomfortable. This is actually typical German, is not it?
B: Yes, perhaps. What else do you like about Germany?
Mads: The rural cuisine. I love onions and the asparagus season. Then everything is served with asparagus, gorgeous!

B: 家を出る時に絶対外せないものは？
マッツ: 僕はいつも腕時計を身に付けるな。いま何時か分からなかったら落ち着かないから。これって典型的なドイツ人じゃない？
B: えぇ、多分。他にドイツの何が好きですか？
マッツ: 地方の料理。玉ねぎとアスパラガスの季節が好きだ。そのときはすべてのものがアスパラガスと一緒にサーブされるんだ。ゴージャス！
